This program is designed for older kids who are interested in learning about permaculture gardening. By practicing different gardening chores, they will build enough knowledge and skill to start and maintain a garden in their own backyard. They will gain a broader understanding of our complex ecosystem which will help raise the consciousness of having a harmonious relationship with nature.


Program Description:
The Forest to Fork Gardening program is an immersive ecological journey designed for children. Participants engage in sustainable gardening practices within a food forest ecosystem, delving into permaculture principles and plant guilds. The program emphasizes environmental stewardship, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable food production. Through hands-on activities, participants explore natural sciences, discovering the intricate relationships within ecosystems. This experience fosters a deep understanding of our innate connection to nature, encouraging participants to become stewards of the environment and advocates for sustainable living practices.

Study the ecosystem in an experiential nature setting

Get hands touch the soil, study and practice different gardening methods

Children must be able to follow basic instructions and safety rules to attend this class independently.
